Responsibilities:
- Conduct systems operations, including Installing and upgrading software and patches
- Investigate, troubleshoot, document, and resolve issues through root cause analysis
- Respond to day-to-day user support requests
- Identify strategies and risk assessment to improve system availability and reduce downtime/outages
- Communicate the outage to senior leadership following approved guidelines.
- Analyze alerts using tools such as Splunk, Sitescope, and Qradar.
- Collaborate with support teams to track and escalate the issues as needed until resolved.
- Participate in analysis, design, and new construction of next generation IT systems.
- Responsible for understanding the needs of the customers and the capabilities of commercially available IT products and creating requirements that will allow implementation by the development team.
Requirements:
- Education: BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or other related scientific or technical discipline.
- 1-2 years of Seibel experience
- Must have solid technical background with a focus on IT systems.
- Systems Engineer on 1 or more IT platforms preferred.
