Halvik is seeking a Senior Contracts Administrator who possesses an understanding of all phases of contract administration. Candidate will comply with company policies and procedures, federal acquisition regulations, assists in the review and preparation of proposals, prepare Non-Disclosure and Teaming Agreements, contract award review, set up and administration of agreements/contracts (inclusive of the administration of other various types of agreements) through contract closeout.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Review and prepare Non-Disclosure Agreements and Teaming Agreements in accordance with company policies, and legal requirements.
  • Negotiation of various agreement types and contracts.
  • Responsible for reviewing and providing contractual guidance on solicitations and contract documents.
  • Administer the entire life cycle of various prime contract and subcontract types, i.e. IDIQ, CPFF, FFP & T&M, from proposal negotiations to contract modifications through contract close-out.
  • Work regularly with FAR, Multiple Award schedules, proposal development, statements of work, cost and pricing data, and contractual flow-downs.
  • Responsible for ensuring compliance with all contractual obligations.
  • Maintain contract/procurement files in compliance with policy; work with Government customers to coordinate contractual funding mods, point of contact changes, period of performance extensions, etc.
  • Prepare internal reports. These reports may include tracking deliverables, regulatory reporting, contract briefs and Government property.
  • Work with internal departments concerning specific contract questions, issues, and problems.
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications: (To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.)

  • Bachelor's Degree (Direct and relevant experience can be substituted for the degree requirement.)
  • 5 years' experience in a Contract Administrator or similar role.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Working knowledge of IDIQ, CPFF, FFP and T&M types of contracts.
  • Proposal preparation experience.
  • Ability to work with a multi-functional team.
  • Strong planning and organization skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Knowledge of regulatory guidelines and the FAR/DFARS
