Halvik is seeking a Database Engineer for a long-term role

Duties and Responsibilities

The Database Engineer shall support the design, development, and maintenance of both custom and non-custom databases within the ITA environment. Responsibilities include identifying data sources, creating data decomposition diagrams, developing data flow diagrams, and documenting these processes. The Database Engineer shall write code for database access, modifications, and construction, including stored procedures, while also developing and implementing standards, procedures, and conventions for database usage. Collaboration with technical and programming staff will be essential to ensure robust database security, and the Database Engineer is expected to have expertise in a range of industry concepts, practices, and methodologies to achieve ITA's objectives. This role involves handling complex tasks and may include leading and directing the work of others. Minimum Qualifications: (To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.)

• Bachelor's Degree (Direct and relevant experience can be substituted for the degree requirement.)
• At least 4 years' experience
• Ability to obtain a NACI background clearance
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate
