Role and Responsibilities Senior Engineer, OA2XML

Lead developer assigned to develop solutions in Cloud using AWS services and integrate with other components in Cloud and on-premise Ensuring retirement and decommission of on-premise P-OA2XML

Migrating components to Cloud Conversion of documents from DOCX format to XML4IP format

Keeping track of customer submissions and status Monitoring and configuring of capabilities via user interface Implementing access controls via Identity Provider (IDP) Achieving operational status for OA2XML in Cloud with due consideration for migrating vs rebuilding


Required Skills:

- Proficiency in scripting and programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, Bash) for automation and integration.

- Experience with DevOps practices and tools (CI/CD, version control, monitoring).

- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues in production environments.

- Recent experience with Java sprint-boot microservices

- Hands-on implementation of Docker containerization

- Practical knowledge of AWS services, including ECS (or EKS), EC2, ELB, S3, RDS, Lambda, SNS, SQS

- Understand all aspects of deploying to ECS or EKS, including auto-scaling an application in ECS or EKS

- Proven leadership experience as a lead developer


Preferred Skills:

- Actively participate in Agile ceremonies, including stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, provide feedback, and deliver features in an iterative manner.

- Ensure that the software development lifecycle aligns with Agile methodologies and best practices.

- DotNet development experience
