Halvik is currently seeking a qualified candidate to serve in the Resource Management Operations as a Support Analyst for Headquarters, Department of the Army, G-4.

Responsibilities:

This position will support the Chief of the Resource Management Operations in the following capacity:

  • Track financial data, organize and direct cost, budget, and schedule analysis
  • Prepares documents needed to process budget estimates, requests for reprogramming, and allotments from higher headquarters
  • Exercises budget controls through review of obligation and expenditure of funds to include payment of personnel salaries, travel, and other expenses
  • Prepare financial recommendations
  • Forecasts and executes the prior, current, and budget year programs
  • Develops formulates, and prepares required data and assorted narrative justifications for budget exercises
  • Provide project management support for DoD system procurements including in depth knowledge and hands-on experience in cost management, appropriate automated planning/control tools (e.g., GFEBS, ), cost estimating, and budget and funds management

Requirements:

Mid-level analyst that is a self starter, active secret clearance, excellent quantitative and analytical skills. A thorough knowledge of government and/or army financial management functions and processes.

  • This position requires an advanced degree with 6 years' experience, a bachelor's degree with 8 years' experience, or 12 years of experience with no degree.
  • Must be able to work within a team environment, as well as independently.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with team members, government personnel, and Army Senior leadership.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to multi-task/manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must.
  • Demonstrate Senior level proficiency in all Microsoft Office software platforms.
