This Senior Software Developer role supports the ongoing operation and maintenance (O&M) of critical PHMSA applications. Responsibilities include:
- Maintaining and enhancing existing Java-based systems
- Working closely with business analysts and PMs to implement enhancements
- Troubleshooting and resolving production issues
- Participating in Agile sprints and backlog grooming
- Supporting integrations with Oracle databases and frontend Angular components
Required Skills:
- Java (Spring Boot)
- RESTful API Development
- Oracle SQL and PL/SQL
- Git, Jenkins, Maven
- Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
Preferred Skills:
- Angular
- AWS (EC2, RDS, Lambda)
- Docker/Containerization basics
- DevSecOps awareness
- Familiarity with Section 508 compliance
