Responsibilities:

Backend Development: Designing, building, and maintaining server-side applications and APIs using languages like Node.js, Python, Go, Java, or Ruby, ensuring scalability and performance.

Database Management: Expertise in PostgreSQL for data modeling, querying, optimization, and administration, often within an AWS environment (e.g., Amazon RDS for PostgreSQL).

Cloud Infrastructure: Utilizing various AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, S3, API Gateway, Terraform, CloudFormation, and others for deploying, managing, and scaling applications and databases.

API Development: Designing, developing, and consuming RESTful APIs for seamless communication between front-end and backend systems.

DevOps and CI/CD: Familiarity with DevOps principles, continuous integration, and continuous delivery pipelines for efficient software deployment and infrastructure management.

Problem-solving and Analytical Skills: Ability to debug, troubleshoot, and optimize complex systems across the full stack.

Required Skills:

• Strong experience in Python, ETL pipeline development
• Advanced knowledge of PostgreSQL and AWS-based DB solutions
• Hands-on experience with AWS services including EC2, SQS, GuardDuty, Lambda, S3, API Gateway
• Proficiency with Terraform and CloudFormation for infrastructure automation
• Strong REST API design and development skills
• Familiarity with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and CI/CD workflows
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team environment
• Excellent communication skills and attention to details.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience developing solutions using AWS AI/ML services like Textract, Comprehend, Bedrock

Education Requirements:

• Master's degree and six (6) years of relevant experience. Or alternatively, a Bachelor's degree and eight (8) years of relevant experience.
