The Pricing Analyst will play a key role in developing, reviewing, and managing cost and price proposals in compliance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), and other applicable government requirements. This position will collaborate with Account Executives, capture/proposal teams, program managers, and finance to ensure competitive and compliant pricing strategies that align with corporate objectives and customer needs.


Job Responsibilities:

· Proposal Pricing Development - Prepare detailed cost/price models for competitive bids, sole source proposals, and contract modifications, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and adherence to solicitation requirements.

· Cost Estimating - Develop labor, material, travel, and Other Direct Cost (ODC) estimates using historical data, vendor quotes, and market research.

· FAR/DFARS Compliance - Ensure all pricing is prepared in accordance with applicable federal regulations, Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), and company policies.

· Basis of Estimate (BOE) Preparation - Create and document BOEs to substantiate cost elements, labor categories, and escalation rates.

· Price-to-Win Analysis - Collaborate with opportunity owners to develop competitive pricing strategies that balance profitability and win probability.

· Audit & Negotiation Support - Support fact-finding, cost audits (DCAA/DCMA), and negotiations with contracting officers.

· Data Analysis - Analyze pricing trends, cost drivers, and historical contract data to improve accuracy and competitiveness in future bids.

· Collaboration - Coordinate with contracts, finance, human resources, and technical leads to ensure complete and accurate pricing inputs.

· Internal Process Improvement - Identify and implement improvements to pricing processes, tools, and templates.


Required Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or related field.

· 3+ years of pricing, financial analysis, or cost estimating experience, preferably in a government contracting environment.

· Strong understanding of FAR, DFARS, and CAS.

· Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, modeling) and familiarity with cost proposal tools.

· Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet tight deadlines.

· Strong written and verbal communication skills.


Desired Qualifications:

· Experience with DCAA/DCMA audits and cost-volume preparation.

· Knowledge of GSA schedules, IDIQ contracts, and task order pricing.

· Experience with Unanet, Deltek Costpoint, ProPricer, or similar pricing systems.

· Active or recently active security clearance.
