We are seeking a highly experienced Architect with deep expertise in .NET technologies, RESTful services architecture, and strong experience working within Saxon-based transformation environments. The ideal candidate will lead architectural strategy, design and implement secure, high-performance applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and own end-to-end architecture for enterprise-grade applications built on C#.NET platforms
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performing RESTful APIs and services
- Architect and implement XML, XPath, XQuery, and XSLT 2.0/3.0 transformations leveraging the Saxon processor
- Lead API governance, including contract definition, versioning, error handling and observability practices
- Establish and enforce best practices for API security, authentication, and authorization
- Conduct architecture reviews and ensure alignment with enterprise standards and long-term strategy
- Collaborate with product, infrastructure, and security teams to deliver compliant and resilient solutions
- Drive performance optimization, scalability, and system reliability initiatives
Required Qualifications
- 12+ years of progressive software development experience
- Strong hands-on expertise in .NET Core and C#
- Proven experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs at enterprise scale
- Deep experience with Saxon XSLT processor and XML transformation frameworks
- Strong knowledge of API security standards
- Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, scalability patterns, and performance tuning
